Accord RAMOGE - Prévention et lutte contre la pollution marine. L'Accord
RAMOGE signé en 1976 est l'instrument dont se sont dotés la France, Monaco
et l'Italie pour une gestion intégrée du littoral.Les zones maritimes
de la Région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, de la Principauté de Monaco et
de la Région Ligurie constituent une zone pilote de prévention et de lutte
contre la pollution du milieu marin.

The RAMOGE Agreement signed in 1976 is the instrument adopted by
the Governments of France, Monaco and Italy to ensure that the coastal areas
of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region, the Principality of Monaco
and the Ligurian Region should constitute a pilot zone for preventing
and combating pollution of the marine environment. In order to carry out its own missions, the Agreement was endowed of an operating structure composed of :
A Commission, the executive organ, is composed of 7 delegates (appointed by the States)for each country. This Commission carries out a role of proposal, incitement and information toward the Governments, the local and territorial collectivities, the Scientific and Technical Community, as well as the public.
A Technical Committee is formed by 5 technical experts for each country. The latter has the duty of assisting the Commission in its various activities.
The Working Groups are in charge of studying particular questions which serve the Commission in order to fix the mandate and the Implementation report.
An Executive Secretary (permanent organ of the Agreement) provided by the Principality of Monaco.
The RAMOGE Agreement pursues its goal of sensitizing of the young people On Wednesday, 6th May will occur the 3rd edition of the sensitization day for the young on the topic of marine litter.
